When I first got a computer I never dreamed that it could be so much fun or that you could actually make friends in here!!!

The friends that I have made have become closer to me than some of my family. Two ladies I met in my garden forum have become as close as sisters! And one of their daughters a good friend.

I have been rather sick with a cold and they have called so many times, checking on me....and that is from Texas and Keytucky!!

The lady in KY called her daughter who lives just on the other side of the river, and she came up here bringing me medicine and food!! Now how sweet and caring is that??!!

I have gotten to meet several of my PC friends and that is such fun!
And it as if we've known each other forever, cause we talk on the PC all the time.

But even like here, in this blog, the ones who have welcomed me back is so appreciated! This is what makes it fun, knowing that someone actually reads my jabbering.

The other neat thing is....besides this blog I have one in the Garden Forum website in which I cannot write the same things I can here...cause I don't really know all of you.....so I can let myself go and say about anything I want to here. (My sons read my other blog sometimes!!) It's like, I can have more than one persona. I'm not the same person here as I am there.

It was like that in real life when I lived in CA...many moons ago....At home around my husband, or even out at a club with him, I was one type of person.....but if I went out with just my friends I was totally different!!! I was able to have two persoalities!!

It's also pretty cool that we can sit around in any sort of dress, or undress , and it doesn't matter! Which is why no one has talked me into getting a PC cam....I would surely forget it was on sometime!!! Then you might think you're watching a porn movie!!!! I like to be comfortable and sometimes TOO comfortable

Right now I'm sitting here in jammies, though, waiting for my cold meds to kick in, just letting my mind wander.

Do any of you play PC games like Civilization2 (which I am addicted to!!!) I've even heard my sons ask one another a question about the game and the other would say, "I don't know..ask Mom. She'll know."
I also play Alpha Centauri...which is sort of a continuation of Civ, after you build your spaceship and leave for Centauri. I don't like little games, I like those big, mega, civilization building games.
My sons are all into WoW. But that one is TOO much for me! My one son emails me lots of Screen Shots of his games. I'm also registered in his wonderful blog about the game, which I love to read!

I like lots of different blogs on here. I've been hoping to hear from JSGDMN (I think that's right). I've left a couple of comments in his blogs.

I've also noticed, and read, bloggers who are writing continuing stories in a blog separate from their other blog.
Maybe I should do that too? I am trying to write a Fantasy Novel (which, those kinds of books, is the other thing I'm addicted to {not that that's ALL I'm addicted too!}). Anyway, if I started a separate blog for that, maybe I would write more often; if it was read.Hmmmm.

I also like to write poetry, so maybe I should start even another blog just for poetry?! With that one I would want to have a soft music background and I don't know how to do that!
